Stanley J. Wyka
President
Stanley Wyka is the President and founder of Mile Square Roofing Company, Inc., which he started circa 1983. Over the years the company has emerged into an industry leader in the State of New Jersey. The business has been established on long term relationships with multiple property owners and property management companies. We have developed into a professional roofing company consisting of the most qualified office and field personnel in the business. Our ambition has been to provide quality service in a professional manner to our customers. We have recognized many long term, trusted relationships over the years, as a result of the impeccable integrity of the owner and the team that has been established in a slow and methodical way. Mile Square Roofing has been a member of the National Roofing Contractor’s Association (NRCA) since 1990.
Kirk W. Hollis
Vice President
Kirk Hollis joined the team at Mile Square Roofing in the spring of 2006. He brings with him over 26 years of extensive commercial roofing knowledge and experience. His education includes construction engineering from Canton University as well as numerous continuing education courses from the National Roofing Contractors Association and certification as an Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor and Asbestos Project Manager in the State of New York. Kirk has attended work shops for all the major roofing materials manufacturers such as: Firestone, Versico, Johns Manville, GAF, Siplast and Soprema, to name a few. Over the years Kirk has had direct hands on experience with all aspects of the roofing industry including estimating, accounting, quality control, operations and project management.
Hope Wyka
Office Manager
Hope has had experience in various office jobs (lawyers and accountants) prior to joining forces with her husband at Mile Square Roofing circa 1990. She is very articulate in Quick Books and runs the office with precise direction and sincerity for this expanding business.
Tim Wyka
Associate Manager
Tim is the newest member of Mile Square Roofing and the fourth generation of the Wyka family roofers. He has earned a BA degree in management from the University of Hartford and is now joining his father Stan and the Team at Mile Square Roofing to continue the legacy of quality and professionalism that Mile Square has developed over the past 25+ years. Tim is well versed in Microsoft Office, Quick books, and other computer related software. He has completed several training courses with the NRCA and has attended workshops for several roofing manufacturers, such as Firestone, Versico etc. Tim is continuing to work closely with Mile Square’s top personnel to become proficient with the numerous roofing systems the company utilizes. He has recently begun to assist in the supervision of the service department and is looking forward to growing with the company for many years to come.
Cindy Carney
Administrative Assistant
Ms. Carney has had extensive experience in various office duties with the emphasis on Construction and Safety, prior to joining forces with Mile Square Roofing, circa 2007. She is very articulate in Microsoft Office, has the ability to create and manipulate Excel spreadsheets, as well as Quick Books, and a number of other computer software programs. Job duties include: coordinating customer relations with our office and field staff, data entry that is relevant to the field operations, ensuring that pre and post project documentation is processed in a timely manner. She interacts professionally with our management team, field technicians and our customer base.
John Pesler
Chief Superintendent
John is one of the original employees of Mile Square Roofing. He has grown with the business and now oversees $1,000,000.00 projects as well as keeping track of the everyday operations. He has had extensive safety training and is very knowledgeable of the ever changing world of the commercial roofing industry. He is proud of his heritage and looks forward to expanding the roofing environment at Mile Square Roofing.
Zygmund Zukowski
Superintendent
Zygmund (Ziggy) brings to Mile Square Roofing over 20 years of roofing experience. Prior to finding a home at Mile Square, Ziggy worked for a couple of other NJ roofing companies as well as owning his own roofing company for 9 years. His vast knowledge and understanding of North Country roofing is an invaluable asset to our company. He is an excellent superintendent for single ply roofs such as PVC, TPO, EPDM, as well as metal standing seam roofs. As with our other supers, he has been to many roofing manufacturer’s seminars. Prior to coming to the United States, Ziggy was a Professional Rescue Worker for the mining industry in Poland. This experience strengthens our Safety Program to keep our employees and the surrounding environment safe.
Wojciech Dabrowski
Service Foreman
Wojciech is a recent addition to our team, who brings vast knowledge to the table. With 16 years of roofing experience and a master’s in mechanical engineering from Polytechnical University in Bialystok, Poland, he provides the understanding as well as the skills needed when attempting new technologies and practicing accepted methods. He is certified as an authorized CERTA trainer, as well as a torch applicator by the National Roofing Contractors Association. Wojciech is certified in Zinc Standing Seam Roofing by the North American Bocker Roofing & Construction Equipment Co. Also, he is certified in EPDM and Sure-Weld by Carlisle SynTec, Incorporated. Along with being trained in the Kemper System, he has extensive knowledge in all types of roofing systems such as Built-up, Torch Down, EPDM, TPO, PVC, 2001 Company, and Slate. He preciously held positions as a mechanic, foreman, service manager, superintendent, and appraiser, making Wojciech very well rounded in many aspects of the industry.
Manual Godoy
Chief Mechanic
Manuel (Manny) is our “go to” man at Mile Square Roofing. We have not found anything that he cannot do, yet. Manny started his career as an aircraft mechanic with the Colombian Air Force. He then worked in Fl. on commercial airplanes. He has held jobs in most aspects of the construction business, culminating as 2nd shift foreman. Manny has experience with machine shop and electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic trouble shooting. He then worked in an auto repair shop for 2 yrs. prior to joining our team at Mile Square Roofing in 2005.
Manny now keeps our vehicles, equipment, small tools and our warehouse in a safe and running order.
